teaching cheddar how to write an email
Cheddar wants to learn the structure of an e-mail and it is our job to teach him. First, we analysed three models of e-mails with the cooperative structure think-pair-share, in order to find positive and negative things. after that, we put the parts of an e-mail in order. finally, we were ready to write our e-mails and evaluate ourselves.

a pirate i was meant to be
Getting ready for the Pirate Fight... this pirates were special... they didn't fight with swords... they used rhymes! First, the Alliances completed a few tasks and also found some of the comebacks they needed. Then, when the pirates visited them, they had to complete a breakout game to find the rest of the comebacks that were inside the boxes...
After solving the English and Maths puzzles, working cooperatively and collaborating with the other alliances, the students managed to defeat the pirates, who promised they would never come back to south back...

trouble under the sea
oh, no! The seas are polluted after the pirate's visit... but that does not only happen in termina, unfortunately...
after watching a few videos about sdg 14 and the importance of clean and healthy waters, we worked on this thinking routine: see, think, wonder
After that, we started designing paper bags with positive messages related to sdg 14. We will donate those bags to a local shop that offered to help us (A BIG THANK YOU!) and they will use them with their customers. that way, we will raise awareness and people will know how important it is to keep our oceans clean and how to help and be part of the change!
